Belly Raks (Belly Dance): Perfect for Women curious about Belly Dance!! Belly Raks offers a fun mix of simple Middle Eastern dance techniques experienced at a mixed pace to dramatic Middle Eastern music!! This 'Follow the Leader' style class focuses on stress free fun in a friendly relaxed environment & is appropriate for all ages. We will do a short warm up, a little bit of floor work & dance the remainder of the class time!! This class focuses on fun & movement rather than technique. No previous experience needed. What to wear/bring: dress as you would for a Yoga class - comfortable clothing, no shoes; bring hip scarves/coin belts if you have them.
Enerpilates: EnerPilates is more than a fitness fusion class! You can expect changes not only in your body, but your mind will gently come into alignment with who you would like to be & you will dive more profoundly right smack dab into actively making positive changes happen! All done with mindfulness & awareness of the breath/mind/body connection, among the many modalities we will utilize are: body sculpting, plyometrics, yoga, pilates, ballet, martial arts/kickboxing, circuit training, pole dance conditioning, weighted hula hoop. Combining the nine movement forms of Martial arts, Dance arts & the Healing arts, Nia addresses the whole person & is ageless & limitless. Pole "Fun"damentals: This class will change your view of fitness classes!! Our focus will be on the basics, as we move thru a natural progression of pole movement, dance moves, spins & transitions, all while improving strength, flexibility, self-confidence & overall fitness. We will also incorporate the art of sensual movement into moves, so you can make it as mild or wild as you wish.
